	Texet was, and still is, a calculator and office equipment marketing company. Based in Manchester, England, it has been owned for many years by the family run Hira Company Limited. Known Texet LED and fluorescent hand-held calculators - 1 800M 880 5 buttons in top row (CA, CS, etc.). 880 (880A) 4 buttons in top row (blank, X/Y, etc.). 1200 STUDENT 1500 Pocket-8M Pocket-8MR Scientific 2001 Secretary Student Trader

Main integrated circuit - Texas Instruments TMS1802 (here date coded week 7, 1972).

9v (6x AA batteries).

This calculator is a little unusual, with features of an early low-volume calculator before mass production took over. It is solidly made with a metallic body, "Klixon" keyboard, uses shaped pieces of phenolic plastic, and has a very unusual multi-pin socket for the external power supply.
